Health Stamp is an iOS and watchOS app that automatically adds your daily activity data to your photos. It reads your steps, distance walked, cycling, swimming, and rowing data from Apple Health and embeds it as searchable captions in your photos.
Stamping adds context to your memories, helping you remember how active you were during vacations or daily life. It documents your fitness journey, makes photos searchable by activity (e.g., "10,000 steps"), and lets you share achievements naturally.
Health Stamp supports iPhone (iOS 17.0+) and has an optional companion app for Apple Watch (watchOS 11.0+).
Health Stamp can read and display Steps, Walking + Running Distance, Cycling Distance, Swimming Distance, and Rowing Distance.
No. Your health data never leaves your device. Health Stamp reads data directly from Apple HealthKit, uses it to create captions, and that's it. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no way to access your data.
Permissions are requested on first use. You can manage them anytime in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Health Stamp.
Ensure permissions are granted, relevant data is recorded in Apple Health for that day, and that you actually had activity.
Health Stamp uses IPTC metadata (an industry standard) to embed captions directly into your photo files. This is searchable and preserved when sharing.
No. Health Stamp creates a stamped copy of your photos with the caption embedded. Your original photos remain untouched.
