ReliPR LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Fat Burn mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

2.1 HealthKit Data

With your explicit permission, Fat Burn accesses health data from Apple HealthKit, including:

  • Heart rate data (for zone classification)
  • Active energy burned (workout and movement calories)
  • Basal energy burned (resting metabolic rate)
  • Workout data (type, duration, associated metrics)
  • Body mass (for calorie calculations)
  • Date of birth (for age-based calorie formulas)
  • Biological sex (for gender-specific formulas)

Important: HealthKit data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or shared with third parties. We use this data solely to display your fat burn metrics within the app.

2.2 Local App Data

Your settings and preferences (such as display unit selection and fat burn goals) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms. If you use the Apple Watch companion app, data is shared between your iPhone and Watch using a secure App Group.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Display your fat burn metrics within the app
  • Calculate fat burn using heart rate zone analysis and the Keytel formula
  • Estimate daily, workout, weekly, and lifetime fat burn
  • Provide Apple Watch complications and widgets
  • Show daily, weekly, and lifetime fat burn summaries

4. Data Storage and Security

All health and fitness data accessed through HealthKit remains stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your HealthKit data on external servers.

Your data is protected by iOS's built-in security features, including device encryption and secure enclave technology.

5. Third-Party Services

Fat Burn does not use any third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. We do not share your personal or health data with any third parties.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Fat Burn
  • Delete the app and all locally stored data
  • Request information about data handling practices

7. Children's Privacy

Fat Burn is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.

Fat Burn is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All data displayed — including fat burn estimates, calorie figures, and heart rate zone analysis — is for informational and personal fitness tracking purposes only.
